3 Organic Remedies to Get Rid of Acne Overnight

By Susie J.

Imagine the following scenario – you have an important corporate presentation or a date the next day. While getting ready for bed, you spot a massive pimple on your face. Needless to say, acne can have a profoundly negative impact on your self-confidence. Is it possible to undertake a few steps that will help you get rid of the pimple by the next morning?

If you want to get rid of acne overnight, you’ll have to address the common causes of the problem. Here are some of the best ways to accomplish the goal.

Use Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is one of the most powerful natural substances when it comes to eliminating acne within a very short period of time. It is a powerful antiseptic, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal substance. As a result, tea tree oil can be used to get rid of the bacteria that accumulate on the skin and contribute to the appearance of pimples.

On top of these characteristics, tea tree oil is soothing. It reduces the redness and the inflammation. Even if the pimple isn’t gone by the next morning, it will be much less prominent and easier to cover with makeup.

To get rid of acne, you can simply dab a little bit of tea tree oil on the affected area. Alternatively, take one teaspoon of aloe vera gel and mix it with a few drops of tea tree oil. Aloe vera gel is another powerful soothing substance that will increase the effectiveness of the oil.

Cinnamon and Honey
When attempting to get rid of acne overnight, you can rely on many of the basic ingredients found in the kitchen. Cinnamon and honey are two of them.

Just like tea tree oil, honey is a powerful anti-bacterial substance. It will deliver good results even when dabbed on the affected area by itself. The addition of cinnamon to the recipe, however, will speed up the process even further.

Cinnamon is a potent antimicrobial substance. Mix one teaspoon of it with one tablespoon of honey. Stir until you get a thick, homogenous paste. Use a clean finger to apply a little bit of it on the acne-affected area. Let the treatment stay on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse it thoroughly before going to bed.

Lemon Juice
Lemon juice has a number of skincare benefits and it’s ideal for the quick and easy treatment of acne.

There are several reasons why lemon juice is so effective. For a start, it’s a natural astringent that reduces the size of enlarged pores. It’s also a source of powerful antioxidants and skin-friendly substances like vitamin C. Finally, the juice of the citrus fruit has a lightening effect and it will reduce the redness and the inflammation.

All that you have to do is get the juice of one lemon, soak a cotton ball in it and dab the affected skin area. Let the lemon juice dry on your skin and wash your face the next morning. The redness and inflammation would have either disappeared completely or they’ll be quite less prominent.

Remember that everybody’s skin is different and the treatment that will work for one person may not necessarily be the right one for you. It’s a good idea to test out a few acne treatment approaches to figure out which one will give you the best results.
