Hormonal Acne – Effective Medication Treatment

By Susie J.

Fast Remedies for Hormonal Acne

Although it is usually associated with hormonal changes during puberty, hormonal acne is also able to affect adults of any age, even after marriage. It is particularly prevalent in women during their postmenopausal period and during pregnancy. Some causes may be due to stress and menstruation. Hormonal acne is a persistent skin condition and is characterized by inflammation and irritation in the skin.

Hormonal acne is caused by the secretion of excess testosterone or other androgens, resulting in excess oil in the skin pores. Bacteria present on the skin may trigger an immune response, which leads to bacterial infection in the skin. The normal balance of bacteria on the skin can be disrupted by certain environmental conditions, such as hormonal acne. Stress can also result in the activation of certain inflammatory genes responsible for acne vulgaris.

Hormonal acne remedies are available over the counter, but they can prove to be ineffective when used long term. For example, Accutane is a highly effective medication treatment for hormonal acne. However, it has some serious side effects such as severe dryness of the skin, and liver damage. Hormonal back acne treatment with Accutane has its own set of complications. Its use is therefore only recommended if the condition is very severe.

There are many natural acne treatment options that have less to negative side effects. One of these options is applying organic lotion or cream to your skin. Many people believe that chemical substances such as those found in many cosmetics are effective hormonal acne treatments. However, these substances can prove to be irritating or even toxic to the skin.

Coconut oil for adult acne is an alternative skin care product that is very effective at treating hormonal acne due to its ability to provide natural lubrication. It does this by penetrating deeply into the pores. This prevents sebum from being produced, which is what causes pimples. However, it can cause mild contact irritation to some individuals. It should therefore be used with caution.

A cheaper alternative is to apply apple cider vinegar to the skin. Apple cider vinegar can be applied using a cotton ball on the affected areas. It can also be used to wash the hair. It is not advised to use it on broken skin. If you do experience an allergic reaction, stop applying the solution and seek medical help. Hormonal acne treatment online should be done cautiously.
